Ultimately, I ended up reading this book in just over a day (I am a voracious reader). I honestly stand on the line in whether reincarnation is true or not, but this book was a very good read for me. You either have to get the Instructor's Manual, CourseMate or hope the instructor will provide the answers. There are better books out there for this audience. Following on from the success of political graphic novels such as Maus and Persepolis, this is accessible, informative and insightful history at its best.
