The drama of its birth, played out on canvas and against the backdrop of the Franco-Prussian War and the Commune, would at times resemble a battlefield; and as Ross King reveals, it would reorder both history and culture, and resonate around the world. What could be worse than a monster egg. Simple, concise and loaded with practical advise. And as Peretti mentions in his foreword (offered in the Kindle edition I received), sin's never been so real. If you have never read any of her other highlander books then you will be confused at who is who. The imagery portrayed by the author was spot on - the mystery, history, secrets and romances – after the 1st few pages I felt like I was on the vineyard myself ready to work.
